Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I came here today for the first time after my annual apple picking excursion at a nearby orchard. The food and service was great. My Bloody Mary with Tito's Vodka really hit the spot. My waitress Cate was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself, including the bathroom is very clean. Plus, there is plenty of parking. Definitely a place I will stop by again the next time I am in the area."
"If you’re in the area, Huddy’s Inn is a must-stop! It’s connected to the golf course, making it the perfect place to grab a bite before hitting the links or to relax after a round. We were visiting local farms, got hungry, and found this gem — it did not disappoint. Food & Drinks: The menu looked fantastic top to bottom. I went with the French Dip (highly recommend!) and paired it with one of their Applejack cocktails — I went the bourbon route, and it was excellent. Pro Tip: No matter the weather, get the chicken tortilla soup. Seriously. It’s that good. Service & Atmosphere: Great service and a welcoming, cozy vibe. This is the kind of spot that makes you want to linger a bit longer. Whether you’re a golfer, local, or just passing through Colts Neck — put Huddy’s Inn on your list. You won’t regret it."
"Just as good as many of these run of the mill types of places around. Not in the upper tier (four tier scale) and definitely better then 2 lowest tiers. Wings were good, burger was good, French dip was good, beer was perfectly cold. Waitress was subpar and where they placed games on the tvs were not intuitive... Clear alternatives existed which would have given better exposure throughout the bar for all patrons."
"Nice atmosphere. I wasnt happy with the food i ordered. Will try it again but definitely stay away from their alleged german sausage. Mine was like mush and potato pancakes were dried out. As if reheated multiple times."
"The nachos were large, and they put cheese in-between the layers. They were good, not great, but not soggy. The extra cheese was brilliant. I had a huddy Berger w cheese. It has been amazing. This time it was ok, but still a really good burger. Great atmosphere."
"I went with seven other people we were sat in the last dining area that is filled with windows. I ordered the pierogies off the lunch special menu, it came with a garden salad. The pierogies (5) were served with onions, sour cream and apple sauce. My sister had the grilled kielbasa sandwich with fries. We split. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us several times."
"3.11.23 update. Had another great meal, service friendly, maybe could have been more attentative. After dinner went to the bar and had a great time with the live music and some dancing. First time there. I had heard some good things about Huddy 's and I was not disappointed! I also recently read an article praising their burgers. Well, I wasn't disappointed, the burger was delicious and per paired with real steak fries, not what some places are trying to pass off these days. The French dip was equally delicious. Great drinks and service as well. We went later in the eve so the only things was a limited dessert menu as some of my favorites had been sold out. Will be back, soon and often!"
"Love yall but HOW COULD YOU LET TERRY FIRE NICOLE!? She basically made you guys, she was there from the start, she was the best damn server in the restaurant. I mean for petes sake, she even got Terry back after he quit!! And what about RubyCole????? We all miss her. I’m never eating at Bistro Huddy again."
